A brand new animated series starring everyone’s favorite chomping hero PAC-MAN, is on the way. PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks has been officially announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., with the first episode dropping on YouTube on May 22, 2026.

Bandai Namco and animation studio Cartuna Productions co-produced the series. Mike Cefalo from The Old Guitarist will be voicing PAC-MAN. New episodes will release once a month on YouTube. A teaser trailer is already live on the official PAC-MAN YouTube channel. It shows PAC-MAN leaving a village full of other PAC-MEN before taking a “Snack Break” and getting a first glimpse of the vibrant, maze-inspired city that will serve as his new home.

The series follows PAC-MAN as he leaves PAC-Village and heads to NEW PAC-CITY, a fast-paced, neon-lit metropolis where everyday life turns into high-speed, snack-fueled adventures. Team Ghost will be a constant presence, chasing PAC-MAN through the city as he takes on all kinds of daily challenges. The show mixes action, comedy, and creative worldbuilding, and promises a colorful cast of characters, some who help PAC-MAN along the way and some who only make things harder for him.

The announcement comes as part of “PAC-MAY,” a month-long celebration of PAC-MAN’s birthday being run by Bandai Namco. Alongside the animated series reveal, the celebrations are expected to include live events, tournaments, fan events, and crossovers.
