Majogami Demo Now Available on Nintendo Switch 2 & Switch

Inti Creates has released a free demo for its upcoming side-scrolling action platformer Majogami, now available on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 2 and Switch. The full game launches worldwide on October 30, 2025, with a PC version coming later via Steam.

Try High-Paced Swordplay in the Demo

In the demo, players step into the role of the witch Shiroha, armed with her katana “Kamikiri.” Her lightning-fast strike, Setsuna, allows her to slice through enemies and papercraft stages at breakneck speed. By meeting the guardian Astral Sirius, she unlocks her first transformation. This boosts her abilities for a limited time and gives players a taste of the game’s dynamic combat.

Full Version Features Revealed

The demo offers only a small preview of what Majogami has to offer. The full version will feature more than 35 story stages, plus hidden bonus challenges. Players can customize their style by collecting 20 magical charms to find, purchase, and equip.

The story promises a deeper experience, with more than eight hours of fully voiced Japanese dialogue. Battles will test players against 13 unique bosses, each with elaborate and sinister designs. Shiroha can also transform into seven different fighting forms, keeping combat fresh and varied throughout her journey.

About Majogami

Directed by Yuji Natsume, illustrator of the Blaster Master Zero series, Majogami blends speed-driven action with a striking papercraft art style. Players guide Shiroha through a twisted world while battling the Majogami, divine Craft Witches who rule the land.

Shiroha collects Recarte cards, fragments of her memories that grant new powers. She relies on her deadly Setsuna attack, defensive sigils, and the support of Astral guardians. These abilities allow her to transform into powerful new forms, adapting to the growing threats ahead.

Release Date

Majogami launches worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on October 30, 2025. A PC version via Steam will follow at a later date.
