It’s been four years since Lords Mobile was first launched, and it’s still going strong! Its developer, IGG, has continuously worked to update the game to ensure the game remains fresh and has variety to cater to every level of gamer who plays their title.

The game utilizes a unique blend of RPG and strategy to really make it stand out from its competitors. On one hand, you have your base building and management. You’ll start off with a variety of basic buildings, collecting resources to upgrade and doing research. Your Lord units can be upgraded with skills in order to improve your buildings to keep your little slice of kingdom running efficiently.

The Lord units can also be sent out on RPG-like expeditions, where you will have them clear out areas of monsters. These battles are done in real-time. Lords will have skills you can use, and depending on their area of effect, you can manually drag the marker to the targets so that you can take out the most important target!

If you think all that is pretty overwhelming, there’s not much to worry. The official Youtube channel for Lords Mobile has guides aplenty, whether you’re a veteran, or just starting out. There’s even a handy F2P series for you to take inspiration from. It’s also where you can find videos on the latest updates, including the most recently added Wonders, Hero reviews, events and more. There’s been the official Lord’s Tournament too, which we’d hope to see again in the future for more competitive Lords Mobile. 

When you think you’re ready, you can head out to raid another Lord’s kingdom. Should you win, you may be able to capture their Lord, and use it as a bargaining chip the other player wants their Lord back. One would say it is this deep strategy that keeps people playing as they continue to build their kingdom, with all the blends of systems coming together in the game.

You may choose to refuse the other player’s offers and kill their Lord unit, or you may find yourself invaded when they bring reinforcements. You need your strategic chops, and then your social skills to negotiate possible deals. Lords Mobile just adds layer after layer, and the continuous updates the game gets simply adds on to the experience.
