GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE new Pilgrim is already here with the release of the Half-Year Anniversary update. The Nikke named, Dorothy comes complete with her very own PV heralding her arrival and despite that, some Commanders may still ask the question, “Should I pull for Dorothy?”

The new Nikke, Dorothy is a Pilgrim, Water Code, Burst Type I, SSR Supporter class Nikke wielding an Assault Rifle.

This will be a first impressions based on the newly released Nikke, and her overall performance and usability may change over time.

Damage, Damage Everywhere (all skills are based upon Skill level 10)

With 2 [ACTIVES] and only one [PASSIVE] Dorothy is definitely less auto-friendly when compared to Sakura who has two passives instead. However, judging by her overall kit, she definitely would fit in any team composition as a DPS support.

Her Skill 1 – Holy Fire, is a Passive that activates when she is firing her last bullet. The skill has two affects:

Without Manifestation (which activates during her Burst Skill)
Reduces cooldown of Burst Skill by up to 1.56 seconds for all allies.

With Manifestation
Attacking a specific part of an enemy will deal up to additional 50.68% damage that lasts for five seconds. This skill affects all allies as well.

Her Skill 2 – Baptism, is her first active that is on a 20 second cooldown which deals up to 216% of ATK as distributed damage. Which basically means she will periodically hit all enemies on the map with additional damage.

Lastly, her Burst Skill – Paradise Lost, is a 20 second cooldown Active that has two effects:

Firstly, she gives Manifestation to herself that changes the cooldown of her Skill 2 from 20 to two seconds and grants her Pierce for the duration. This effect will last for 10 seconds.

Secondly, She will cast Brand, which will accumulate the total damage dealt to enemies within 10 seconds and deal that accumulated damage to all enemies as distributed damage once the duration ends. The maximum accumulated damage can go up to 8900.83% of the casters ATK.

It goes without saying, Dorothy is a really great unit to have for anyone who is playing at any level of content, her skill kit is perfect for taking out bosses and even general mob-clear.

Her Skill 1 Holy Fire would consistently be reducing the cooldowns of your other Nikke’s burst skills which makes her a potent combination for those Nikke’s with high Burst cooldowns. Her Skill 2, although a simple damage burst to all enemies, but once she casts her Burst Skill, clearing missions like the ones where you have to stop the robots from entering the other side or the centre point would be a breeze.

She’s the type of character that I feel, once she hits her first Burst Skill, you will slowly see the effect snowballing as the battle progresses with time. While lacking in any supportive skills like Biscuit, who can heal and rebuild cover, she makes up for it with huge damage potential and consistent Burst Skill cooldowns.

Looks-wise, Dorothy definitely fits the Pilgrim look, she looks majestic and quite frankly really cute as well. Plus she has an outfit similar to that of Harran and personally that’s a good enough reason to roll for her already.

All in all, you should definitely roll for Dorothy, she’s a Pilgrim unit and has the skill kit to prove it. She seems great at blitzing content by outputting consistent damage and keeping the Burst Skill of your other Nikkes constantly going off. You could also potentially get for her free as there will be a free pull event on her banner during the Half-Year Anniversary Event reward period.
