Players who are eager to try the much-anticipated World of Warcraft: Forever can join the developers’ free limited-time stress test. Starting on October 19, the stress test will allow players to test the game’s servers without the need for a subscription, game time, an invitation, or beta access before the game launches on November 4. The event will take place at 2:00 PM PDT in North America, 7:00 PM CEST in Europe, 6:00 AM KST in Korea on October 20, and 5:00 AM CST in Taiwan on October 20.

Players can access the test through the Battle.net desktop app by selecting World of Warcraft and choosing World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test from the Game Version menu under the In Development section. After installing the test client, participants can enter an available test realm and create a new character. According to Blizzard, the beta will be taken offline shortly before the stress test begins and is expected to return shortly after the event ends.
All characters, names, and guilds created during the stress test will be wiped afterward to prepare for the upcoming name reservation period. Blizzard also reminded players that October 21 will be the final full day of beta testing before the game’s November 4 global launch.

Players who purchase the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection will receive early name reservation access from October 27 through November 3, with character names allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
With the November 4 launch approaching, Blizzard is giving players one more chance to put World of Warcraft: Forever through its paces before release. The October 19 stress test could prove crucial in identifying server issues early, helping Blizzard prepare for a smoother launch worldwide.
