Good Smile Company has announced the Gattai DX Gridknight and Goldburn figure, based off of episode 9 of SSSS.Dynazenon.

The figure includes Gridman’s rival, Gridknight as well as the kaiju Goldburn, and can interact with the previously released DX Gattai Dynazenon figure to form Kaiser Gridknight, the new combined form of the three characters.

The figure is available via Lottery Advance Sale from now until June 7th, although you will be required to provide a serial number included with the purchase of the  Gattai DX Dynazenon figure to enter. Regular preorders start June 11th.

The Gattai DX Gridknight and Goldburn costs 8800 Yen, not inclusive of any shipping fees (RM331.29). While its main function is to form the Kaiser Gridknight mode, Goldburn can still form the shield that appears briefly in episode 9, while you also get a well-articulated Gridknight figure.

Buying the kit from the Good Smile website also entitles you to a Kaiser Gridknight packaging sleeve, featuring artwork of Kaiser Gridknight by legendary mecha artist Masami Obari. According to the website the boxes for both Gattai DX figures can also fit within the sleeve, allowing you to store them neatly.

SSSS.Dynazenon is an anime set in the same world as SSSS.Gridman, the anime based off of the tokusatsu drama Gridman. Dynazenon itself is based off of one episode in particular of the original Gridman series, with a weapon in particular called DynaDragon.

The Gattai DX Dynazenon figure contains a fully featured transforming figures of the various components of Dynazenon, which fans had been discovering secret modes for such as Dynasoldier’s “Dynamic Cannon mode”, prior to its reveal in episode 8.
