Perfect World has released its financial results for the first half of 2026, showing that its free-to-play urban RPG NTE: Neverness to Everness has now passed 2 billion Chinese yuan, or about $298 million USD, in total worldwide revenue.
NTE launched in China on April 23, with a global release following on April 29. Perfect World told investors shortly after that the game brought in more than 100 million yuan worldwide on the first day of its global launch alone. When Version 1.1 came out, both the Chinese and global versions hit new single day revenue records, with the global version reportedly earning more than the domestic Chinese version. Perfect World’s earlier first half earnings forecast had already shown the game passing 1.4 billion yuan, or over $200 million USD, as of June 30.

The newly released financial report shows that by August 18, NTE’s total worldwide revenue had climbed to roughly $298 million. That means the game added about $98 million in revenue over the span of roughly a month and a half since early July. Growth has slowed compared to the game’s launch period, but NTE still appears to be bringing in solid earnings even about four months after release.
About 60% of the total $298 million came from the game’s official platforms around the world, including the official PC and Android versions. Versions on outside storefronts like Steam and the Epic Games Store went live on July 8, but based on the numbers shared so far, the official platforms still make up a large portion of the game’s overall revenue.

NTE: Neverness to Everness is available to play for free on PC through its official client, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Mac, PS5, iOS, and Android.
