Granblue Fantasy: Relink already gives players plenty of ways to make their character the strongest, from Sigils to Uncaps to Mastery boards, but the Endless Ragnarok expansion took that even further. With new content added, the ceiling for how strong you can build your characters has been pushed way higher, which also means more grinding if you want to reach that top PWR level. Among all the ways to get stronger, your weapon choice makes one of the biggest differences, and it’s also one of the clearest ways to show off how much work you’ve put into your build. If you’re planning to chase the strongest weapon available in the expansion, this guide walks you through the entire process from start to finish.
The strongest weapon you can get for any character in Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is a fully Transcended Terminus. There are several weapon types in the game, such as Defender, Ascension, Stinger, and Terminus, each with different stats and a unique trait that regular Sigils don’t offer. Terminus weapons have been considered top-tier since launch because of how much damage they can put out, and pushing them all the way to max Transcendence makes them even stronger. Getting there, though, takes a long grind.

Step 1: Getting a Terminus Weapon
Before anything else, you need to obtain the base Terminus weapon. In the past, this only came as a random drop from the Proto Bahamut fight in “The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage,” which made it frustrating to get. With Endless Ragnarok, you can now forge a Terminus weapon at the blacksmith using specific materials instead of relying purely on luck. You’ll still need to clear that same quest along with a few others, but now you’re guaranteed a material drop, so progress feels more consistent. The random drop version is also still around, which helps if you want to gear up multiple characters faster.

Step 2: Leveling Up and Optional Upgrades
Once you have your Terminus weapon, level it up to 150. Unlike most weapons, you can take it straight to the level cap without needing to deal with Uncap requirements. All you need is Rupies and Fortitude Crystals, both of which are easy to farm and something most endgame players already have a lot of. Before moving to the next phase, you also have the option to add a Plus Mark up to +99 for more HP and ATK using Mirage Munitions, or imbue the weapon with Wrightstones to customize its traits. Neither of these is required, so you can skip them for now if you want.

Step 3: Awakening the Weapon
Next is the Awakening phase. Head to Siero’s Knickknack Shack and open the Awakening/Transcendence menu, then select the Terminus weapon you want to upgrade. Awakening has 10 levels total, and each one needs specific materials. The Conflux mode makes this part easier, since you can choose reward bundles like “Terminus’s Awakening” that give you everything needed to finish this phase.

Step 4: Unlocking and Clearing Transcendence
After reaching Awakening level 10, the final stage is Transcendence, which also has 10 levels. The materials needed here are much rarer and only drop from the toughest endgame quests in Endless Ragnarok. Before you can even access Transcendence, you need to defeat the Omnis Zegalith boss in “The Not Forgotten Sky,” the quest that finishes the Endless Ragnarok story. The game recommends 35,000 PWR for this fight, so soloing it can be tough. If you’re having trouble, joining public matchmaking with other players is a solid option. Once unlocked, you’ll need to grind Chaos++ quests to collect the rare materials for Transcendence, since Conflux reward bundles only cover the standard Terminus weapon and its Awakening materials, not this part.

The Hardest Part: Hexachrome Quartz
The biggest hurdle to reaching Transcendence level 10 is getting the rarest material in the game, Hexachrome Quartz. The game normally gives hints about where materials can be found, but this one doesn’t come with any guidance. Players eventually found out it drops from the level 350 version of Omnis Zegalith, which only unlocks after clearing four of the hardest quests in the game on Infinity difficulty. Infinity sits above Chaos++ as the toughest difficulty tier in Endless Ragnarok, and each of its four quests recommends a huge 45,000 PWR. These fights pit you against the strongest versions of The World, Beelzebub, Lucilius, and Bahamut Versa. On top of being extremely difficult, each quest also has a 13-minute time limit, so you need to deal damage fast. Soloing these is very hard, but public lobbies with players over 50,000 PWR are available if you need help getting through them.

What You Get at Transcendence Level 10
Once you hit Transcendence level 10, you’ll get a big ATK boost along with a new trait called Unbound Master at level 55, which increases your DMG Cap by 50%. Other traits, like Catastrophe Nova, automatically reach their max at level 35, giving up to a 70% ATK increase and a 500% DMG Cap boost, as long as your character’s max HP is 200,000 or lower.
