Digimon UP, the upcoming free-to-play monster raising RPG from the Digimon franchise, will officially release on July 15. The game is coming to both iOS and Android and has been described by its developers as “A Digimon journey that moves with your life,” aiming to be a title players can fit into their everyday routines.
Ahead of launch, the game’s pre-registration campaign has crossed 1,000,000 sign ups. As a reward for hitting this milestone, all players will receive Taichi Yagami and Agumon at launch. The developers thanked fans for the support shown during the pre-registration period and said they hope players are just as excited for the release as they are.

Digimon UP brings back many familiar elements of the franchise while introducing new pixel art visuals. Players will choose one of 15 Digimon to serve as their Partner and can customize their Tamer’s appearance using various Gear options available in the game. The game also carries over other long running franchise features such as Digivices, giving longtime fans familiar tools alongside the new mechanics.
With the release date now confirmed and pre-registration rewards locked in, Digimon UP is preparing to bring its mix of monster raising, training, and card based battles to mobile players on July 15.
