Street Fighter 6 will complete its Year 3 character lineup with the arrival of Ingrid on May 28, publisher Capcom has confirmed. The final Year 3 DLC fighter will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Ingrid’s addition marks the conclusion of the Year 3 Character Pass content rollout. As a result, she serves as the final planned DLC fighter for this expansion cycle, bringing a close to the current wave of roster updates.
Ingrid Returns as the Final Year 3 Character

Ingrid returns as a long-standing Capcom mystery character with a history stretching back to Capcom Fighting Evolution in 2004. She later appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX in 2006, but has remained absent from the mainline roster until now.
Now, Capcom is reintroducing her as the final Year 3 DLC character for Street Fighter 6. In addition, her inclusion brings a more magic-focused combat style into the game’s evolving roster.
Solar-Based Combat System Defines Ingrid’s Playstyle

Ingrid’s gameplay revolves around solar energy mechanics and space control. Her signature system, Sun Crests, allows her to store up to four charges of solar power. These charges enhance her attacks by adding extra hits, extending range, or enabling follow-up options.
Furthermore, her projectile tool Sun Shot changes behaviour depending on button input and charge timing. Her beam attack Sun Flare can either generate or consume Sun Crests, depending on the version used. Meanwhile, Solar Burst provides aerial pressure with diagonal beam coverage.
Defensively, Ingrid gains access to Sun Veil, which can nullify incoming damage and counterattack. In addition, Vanishing Sun allows her to teleport across short distances, supporting both offense and escape options.
Super Arts and High-Damage Options

Ingrid’s Super Arts expand her magical toolkit further. Her Level 1 Super Art, Shining Sun, delivers a series of empowered kicks.
Her Level 2 Super Art, Order of the Sun, fires a beacon that triggers different attack patterns depending on input, creating varied pressure setups. Meanwhile, her Level 3 Super Art, Cosmic Ray, unleashes a full-screen energy beam designed for maximum damage and reach.
Together, these abilities position Ingrid as a technical character focused on timing, resource management, and spatial control.
Outfit Options and Year 3 Completion

Players who own the Year 3 Character Pass or Year 3 Ultimate Pass will automatically unlock Ingrid when she launches on May 28. She will also arrive with two outfit variations.
Outfit 1 introduces a new dimension-travelling design. Meanwhile, Outfit 2 brings back her classic look, including her iconic purple school uniform.

With Ingrid’s release in Street Fighter 6, Capcom officially completes the Year 3 DLC roadmap for Street Fighter 6. As a result, the game’s current expansion cycle comes to a close while the roster continues to evolve across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PC.
