Rockstar Games has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will launch on December 2 for Netflix, iOS, Android, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The update brings free upgrades, save-data carryover, and several technical improvements across all platforms.

Experience a Western Classic on Mobile and Netflix

For the first time, players can follow John Marston’s struggle on iOS and Android. These versions now feature mobile-friendly controls, making the adventure easier to play on smaller screens. Additionally, Netflix members can download and play the game at no extra cost. This move further expands access and lets fans take the journey anywhere.

Enhanced Visuals and Performance on New-Gen Consoles

Meanwhile, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users can enjoy smoother and sharper gameplay. The upgraded versions support 60 FPS, 4K resolution, HDR, and improved image clarity. On Nintendo Switch 2, the game takes advantage of the system’s enhanced hardware. It includes DLSS, HDR, mouse controls, and a steady 60 FPS at high resolution.

Free Upgrades and Save-Data Carryover

Current owners will also receive free digital upgrades. Players on PS4, Nintendo Switch, or the Xbox One digital backward-compatible version can simply continue their stories on newer hardware.

PS4 users can bring their existing save data to PS5, while Switch owners can carry their progress to Switch 2. Furthermore, these new versions will join the GTA+ Games Library and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on December 2.
