Crunchyroll and A PLUS JAPAN have officially launched Lord of Nazarick, a new turn-based RPG based on the popular anime series OVERLORD. The mobile game is now available for download on both iOS and Android devices through the App Store and Google Play.
Lord of Nazarick allows players to experience the OVERLORD story through strategic turn-based combat, featuring a roster of over 50 characters at launch, with more planned through regular updates. The game follows the anime’s first season storyline while also introducing new canonical scenarios.
Players can expect a full-featured RPG experience with multiple game modes, including roguelite dungeons, boss challenges, and mini-games. The game also offers cooperative play features, allowing players to form alliances and tackle powerful enemies together, as well as PVP combat with leaderboard rankings and rewards.
The game debuts Crunchyroll Login, a new feature that enhances the free-to-play experience for Crunchyroll Premium members. Premium subscribers will receive monthly in-game currency rewards, access to an exclusive shop, and a special battle pass.
Visually, Lord of Nazarick presents the world of OVERLORD in stunning 3D graphics with high-quality animation. In addition, players can explore familiar locations from the series, including the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Carne Village, and E-Rantel.
The game’s launch comes just ahead of OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom’s theatrical release, scheduled for November 8 in the United States, Canada, and select international regions. Moreover, to celebrate the launch, Crunchyroll is offering a 10% discount on all OVERLORD merchandise in their store, and fans can enter for a chance to win tickets to see the upcoming film in theaters.
