Shonen anime fans especially the My Hero Academia enjoyers out there, you are about to get the fourth epic installment to the My Hero Academia franchise hitting Malaysian theaters, exclusively at GSC on the 7th November 2024. This was officially revealed in GSC’s official X as well as on their Facebook page.

For those who have never heard of the series before, My Hero Academia: You’re Next is an action-packed film set in the universe of the popular anime and manga series My Hero Academia. The story follows Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his classmates from U.A. High School as they embark on a new mission.

This time, they are up against a powerful new villain who threatens the peace and safety of the world. The students must work together and push their Quirks (super power) to the limit to stop the rising threat. MHA: You’re Next will feature an original story which takes place around the collapse of society after the heroes had failed to protect it.

Tensai Okamura, who is mostly known for his works with Soul Eater, The Seven Deadly Sins and even the Darker Than Black anime series, directed My Hero Academia: You’re Next at studio Bones; Yosuke Kuroda provided the script, with character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and music by Yuki Hayashi. The MHA series creator Kohei Horikoshi acted as general supervisor and provided original character designs for the film.
