Wright Flyer Studios’ Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space will soon be having a crossover event with Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler series.

Titled “Octolight Conductors: The Prisoner’s Odyssey”, the crossover event with Octopath Traveler will be released in Another Eden simultaneously worldwide on December 7th, 2023.

To join the event, players would need to have cleared Main Story Chapter 13 in Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space first.

Characters

As detailed on the game’s official website, there will be three characters from the Octopath Traveler series becoming playable and they are:

• Cyrus from Octopath Traveler
  • Voiced by Yuichiro Umehara
  • A traveling scholar who only wanted to learn a little more about the area.
• Partitio from Octopath Traveler II
  • Voiced by Kazuya Nakai
  • A merchant fighting to defeat poverty and keep all the money to himself.
• Tithi from Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent
  • Voiced by Ishigami Shizuka
  • A dancer who shines through all adversity.

The new playable characters from the Symphony can all be Stellar Awakened but players would need to clear the Symphony Quest first to unlock new challenging content.

Then, clear each type of content to receive Ring-Guided Starcharts that can be used on all three characters to Stellar Awaken them.

Note that to perform Stellar Awakening, the characters must be changed to 5☆  class.

Cyrus, Partitio, and Tithi are not the only Octopath Traveler characters showing up, other notable characters will also appear in the story as NPCs including:

• H’aanit (voiced by Yuko Kaida)
• Olberic (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi)
• Castti (voiced by Michiko Neya)
• Temenos (voiced by Akira Ishida)
• Nicola (voiced by Inori Minase)

Feature

This special collaboration with Octopath Traveler will also be bringing in features inspired by the RPG series to Another Eden for this event.

Break Battles

Special battles revolve around striking enemies’ weak points and each hit will reduce enemies’ Shield Points, resulting in a Shield Break.

When Another Force Gauge is filled up, players can then unleash group attacks.

Analyzing enemies’ weaknesses and forming teams with effective Types and equipment are key to success.

Special Attacks

Cyrus, Partitio, and Tithi are able to use certain special Skills, by storing up enough BP with skills and converting their Normal Attack into a Special Attack.

These Special Attacks will hit enemies for massive damage, grant powerful buffs, and trigger various effects, turning the tide of battle.

Path Actions

Players can perform various interactions with the people in town, whether scrutinizing them for information, purchasing items, or alluring them to aid them.

These actions can be used wisely to open up brand-new paths to follow.

Additionally, this crossover event will have special battle music composed by Octopath Traveler series composer Yasunori Nishiki.

As mentioned, the crossover event between Another Eden and Octopath Traveler will begin on 7th December 2023 for all available platforms worldwide.
