PlayStation Stars, loyalty program by Sony launches in Asia

Sony has launched their loyalty program PlayStation Stars in Asia available now, giving a proper look of what the program has to offer

How to join?

To start with, you’ll need to have a PSN account and have the PlayStation App on your phone. You can get the App on both Apple Store and Google Play Store. From there, just tap on the PlayStation stars logo and you are all set.

Joining PlayStations Stars is entirely free and you would not have to worry about any subsequent charges for joining.

Rewards and collectibles

As you rack more points for PlayStation Star, you can start exchanging them for rewards and collectibles the program has to offer. As of present, PlayStation Star offers the following for exchange:

•       The Quarry
•       Nier Automata Game of the YoRha Edition
•       Sekiro Shadows Die Twice
•       Digital Collectibles of Punto Diorama
•       PS Store Wallet Credit

How to get these event points?

One major way of earning the event points is through participating in the various campaigns PlayStation holds. There will be monthly campaigns and even custom campaigns tailored to the games you play.

These campaigns will require you to do certain things for you to earn event points such as playing in multiplayer matches or even tournaments.

Aside from campaigns, PlayStation Plus owners can also gain event points for every purchase they make in the PlayStation store.

A levelling system

PlayStation Stars has a levelling system and will have you start at level 1 the moment you sign up.

Buying games from the PlayStation store and earning trophies are the conditions to level up and they reward you with multiple collectibles as you level up in PlayStation Stars with a maximum of 4 levels.
