Urban Games revealed that Transport Fever 3 is dropping on September 29. Working with Cities: Skylines publisher Paradox Interactive, the devs are releasing it to PC, Mac, and Linux, as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders available now.

Transport Fever 3 is the biggest and most ambitious installment in the franchise. It follows the series’ premise of letting players build a transportation empire from humble beginnings to eventually becoming a tycoon. This time, everything is grander, featuring over 300 vehicles and over a century’s worth of transport history.

The reveal trailer blasted through a series of timelines, featuring vehicles from horseback carriages to massive cargo planes. Furthermore, it showed how players can build tracks and logistics across a variety of biomes, including capital cities, the ocean, and even a swamp-like area.

Transport Fever 3 is set to be the most detailed, extensive, and dynamic entry in the series yet. Inspired by valuable feedback from our closed beta tests, we’re focused on creating something truly special for players.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect in the trailer was the scale of the modification system. Aside from the tracks, players can also customize their world by dropping trees, buildings, and a plethora of other structures.

Urban Games also gave players a first look at Transport Fever 3’s Deluxe Edition and the series’ first Collector’s Edition. Highlights from the Deluxe pack include 11 legendary vehicles and two of the world’s architectural wonders: the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal.

Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition includes everything in the Deluxe version, plus a variety of keepsakes. Among the inclusions are a 200-page hardcover art book, a statue, a themed card game, and a music box. The Collector’s Edition will initially be limited to just 10,000 copies, making it a must-have for the franchise’s most dedicated fans.

Players who pre-ordered the game will also get the legendary ocean liner, TS Queen Mary, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and Asian elephants as additions to the game’s tropical regions. Those who own a copy of the second game will also get a 10% loyalty discount when pre-ordering Transport Fever 3—pretty neat!
