Smash hit mobile RPG, Onmyoji launches beta of its English version

NetEase’s blockbuster Onmyoji is finally having an English language version! It is now in limited beta for iOS and Android devices, where Western players from the United States and Canada users will be able to enjoy the game beforehand.

In case if you don’t know about Onmyoji yet, it is a 3D Japanese anime-style mobile RPG that gathers over 200 million downloads worldwide just with its Chinese language version. It was also honored as one of the App Store’s 10 Best iPhone Games of 2016 in China and as one of Facebook’s 2016 Best Mobile Games. Featuring stunning 3D graphics, the game offers strategic, turn-based combat in PvP or PvE modes and customizable characters voiced by real anime legends.

The game story set in the mythical Heinan period where humans and spirits inhabit the same realm. You will play as Abe no Seimei, the most famous Onmyoji (individuals who are able to manipulate natural order and control spirits aka shikigami) who adventures to restore his lost memories. In your adventure, you will need to collect amulets to summon rare and powerful shikigami, then form contracts in order to defeat the dark forces.
