Mobius Final Fantasy x Final Fantasy XIII collaboration event is now live

Mobius Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy XIII has come together for a collaboration event – Lightning Resurrection. The event begins at 5 September (yesterday), where Lighting from Final Fantasy XIII will join the Mobius Final Fantasy world as the first Ultimate Hero card.

If you wonder what an Ultimate Hero card does, it strengthens the main character while transforming their appearance, voice and ultimate attack to that of the character. A new storyline along with some updates on content and gameplay also arrive as a part of the collaboration event.

New content and features:

• A unique battle system that requires players to unlock paradigms for powerful effects is introduced in the new “Lightning Resurrection” region.
• Hope (“Hope’s Guide”) and Snow (“Unbroken Hero”) is available to summon, which you can also receive a Lightning-themed companion spirit when you successfully summoned them.
• 16 gifts including a warrior weapon, “Blazefire Saber,” an exclusive Lightning ability card and a Lightning emoticon stamp is given for every login players.

Other than these, Hope and Snow will replace the existing Legend job cards, Lightning (“Knight of Etro”) and Noel (“Last Hunter”) on 15 September. A new Supreme card – Ragnarok: FFXIII will also be available for a limited time. While from 23 September onwards, you will be able to participate in the Ranking Event, where you can battle using Lightning Resurrection’s paradigms.
