SEGA has announced that the Mega Man Pack DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is launching on March 25, 2026. A new trailer has been shared, giving players a first look at what’s coming with the pack. No additional details about the full contents of the pack were revealed beyond what was shown in the trailer.
On the content side Version 1.3.1 has been released, eight new gadgets have been added, all obtainable once a player’s Gadget Plate reaches Master Plate or higher. A new Frenzy mode called Bonus Ring Frenzy has also been introduced, causing bonus rings to appear on the course during races.
The update also added the “Sega Racing & Variety” music album, featuring eight classic tracks from games like OutRun, Sega Rally 2, and Power Drift. New collaboration decals from brands like Five Guys, Funko POP!, and others were added as well.
On the balance side, Collision Boost received a boost duration increase to make overtaking more viable, while Ultimate Charge had its invincibility window cut down from three seconds to 1.5 seconds at Level 4. The Drill item was also adjusted so it no longer makes jumping to first place too easy in the final lap.

Several bug fixes were included as well, covering course-specific issues across maps like Minecraft World, Digital Circuit, and Dragon Road, among others. A fix was also applied to the Warp Ring item, which was allowing major shortcuts and large position jumps. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
