Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Update Includes New Game+ and More

Insomniac Games recently announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is receiving a new update that includes highly requested features such as New Game+ and more.

In a recent PlayStation blog post, Insomniac Games expressed their gratitude for players who picked up the game. They then go along to reveal that the major title update is coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on 7th March 2024.

As previously mentioned, the update will bring New Game+ into the game, but more features such as Ultimate Levels, Golden Gadgets styles and more can also be unlocked in this update.

The developers also added new suit styles of Peter’s symbiote suits which players can get by playing and unlocking them in New Game+ Ultimate Levels. In addition, the color of the symbiote abilities can also be changed, allowing for even more freedom in customization for players.

Furthermore, they have also added Marvel’s Hellfire Gala outfits for Peter and Miles, with no additional costs to the player.

Photo Mode has also been improved, including action figure mode and stickers, players who already completed the game will also be able to change the time of day, letting players control the lighting of the photos they want to take.

For certain audiences, a huge improvement to Accessibility features is also coming in this update, with Audio Descriptions and Screen Reader being implemented after long being requested by fans of the series.

Lastly, Insomniac Games, Marvel Games, and Gameheads collaborated to create two new suits for the game, named the Fly N’ Fresh suit pack. Early access for the suit pack will be available for $4.99, from March 7th, 2024 to April 5th, 2024. 

The Fly N’ Fresh suit pack will include:

• Fly Suit for Peter
• Fresh Suit for Miles
• 10 photo mode stickers
• 2 photo mode frames

For every Fly N’ Fresh suit pack the game sells, PlayStation will donate $4.99 to Gameheads, so players who want to do a little charity while getting early access to cool new suits can take the opportunity to purchase them.

Even if players do not purchase the suit pack, Insomniac Games promises that the suit pack will be available for free at a later date.
