Mad Rocket: Fog of War – Another Clash of Clans-Like Game Now Out On Mobile!

Another Clash of Clans-like game is now up on both iOS and Android! Previously we’ve covered on one which was by NetEase Games called Legend: Rising Empire last week. Today, we have Mad Rocket: Fog of War by Ratatat Studios published by 4:33! If you’re looking to retire from Clash of Clans, you can check out this one which requires more tactics and a different strategy on either your iOS or Android device!

Mad Rocket: Fog of War is just like Clash of Clans which is a base-building game. You build your base in a fashion that will protect your main building and defend it with your traps or defensive structures. However, just like what it says in the name, there’s ‘fog of war‘. This kind of brings back the old traditional RTS mechanic where we need to send a unit out to explore and uncover what the enemy’s base has. It’s pretty much the same in Mad Rocket which will require you apply a different kind of strategy which is to uncover the enemy’s base first and deploy your units strategically.

Fog of War does even out the competition as to compared to Clash of Clans. The bases are usually generically built because everyone is sharing the ‘best base build’ which everyone copies. However, with the fog-of-war, there’s no way anyone can copy the landscape exactly so it gives players a more diverse way to build their base defensively without any worries of being stomped all the time.

You can set up your platoon before deploying and upgrade your arsenals. As you upgrade them, they will become stronger. Because the theme in this game is more futuristic, you will have rockets instead of spells. Once you revealed the enemy’s key buildings in their base, you can send over a rocket to take down their defensive structures or traps before sending in your platoon.
