Kakao Games has started taking pre-registrations for its upcoming mobile action RPG Goddess Order, which is set to launch worldwide this September. The game comes from PixelTribe, the same team that created the popular mobile game Crusaders Quest.
The announcement came after an online showcase event that featured the game’s developers talking about their project. The showcase was split into two parts – first with Director Terron Jung and content creator RoofTopCAT having a casual chat with fans, then Director Jinsung Choi diving deeper into how the game works and what players can expect.
The event ended with the first look at the game’s theme song “Across Time,” performed by entertainer Jo Yuri, getting fans more excited for the global release.
Goddess Order brings back classic pixel art graphics with side-scrolling action that players control manually. The game’s main feature is a “tag battle” system that lets you switch between three different characters during fights, giving you more ways to play and strategize.
Players who sign up early will get some nice bonuses. Everyone who pre-registers gets the SR knight character “Tia,” a special profile frame, and 10 Mana-Imbued Pages. If you pre-register through app stores like Google Play or the App Store, you’ll also get 100,000 Gold and 2,500 Mana Ink.
To give fans more insight into how the game was made, Kakao Games plans to release three behind-the-scenes videos. The first one, called “PIXELOG,” will focus on the pixel art style. The second, “Pixel Control Tower,” will show off the action gameplay and side-scrolling mechanics. The last video, “Goddess Story,” will explore the game’s story and world.
Players can pre-register for Goddess Order through their official website or on the App Store and Google Play Store. The game is scheduled to launch in September across all regions at the same time. You can also check out their official community and social media:
