Black Myth: Wukong Development Has Completed, Will Release as Scheduled

Developer Game Science has just announced that the development of Black Myth: Wukong is now complete and will release as scheduled. It is available for pre-order now on PS5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and WeGame.

Currently, the development team is working on bug fixing and optimizing the game. They have also mentioned that they will release a new trailer on August 8, 2024, at 10 AM Beijing Time.

For those of the uninitiated, Black Myth: Wukong is an upcoming action RPG developed by Chinese game developer Game Science. The game draws heavily from the classic tale of Journey to the West, which chronicles the journey of a Buddhist monk, Tang Sanzang, and his three disciples, including Sun Wukong, as they travel to the Western Regions to obtain sacred texts.

The game features intense combat, where players can use Sun Wukong’s various abilities and transformations to battle enemies. Players will explore diverse environments inspired by Chinese mythology and folklore, encountering a wide range of characters and creatures.

Black Myth: Wukong will be available on PS5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and WeGame on August 20, 2024. While the development has finished for Black Myth: Wukong, there is still no news regarding the Xbox release.
