Ao Oni has new game due for release on smartphones

Fans of cult horror game series Ao Oni rejoice, as developer UUUM has just announced a new game for the Android and iOS platforms. It has been years since the last release, so it would be interesting to see what is brought to the table this time around.

In any case, the new game will come out later in December 2020 as a free-to-play title with the usual microtransactions. No details have been disclosed for the new game, other than the fact that it will feature link functionality with the currently running Ao Oni Online, also for the smartphone. By finishing the story in the new game, you will be rewarded with skins for use in Ao Oni Online. Conversely, clearing limited missions in Ao Oni Online unlocks special stories in the new game.

Ao Oni is a Japanese survival horror game with RPG and puzzle elements. Although each version differs heavily from the others, the objective is always the same.
