Smilegate just announced that its popular turn-based RPG Epic Seven is coming later this year on PC via Steam. No official release date was confirmed, but 2026 is the target date, as it coincides with the game’s eighth anniversary.

The game’s official Steam page also confirms that players will be able to link their existing STOVE accounts to transfer their saves from their phones to their PCs. Furthermore, the port is confirmed to fully support keyboard and mouse, and controller for more seamless gameplay.
Smilegate will also reportedly set up separate matchmaking servers for new players when the game launches later this year, to make for a better and fairer experience for those entering the world of Epic Seven for the first time.
Alongside its PC release is the reveal of a crossover with Chaos Zero Nightmare, which is another game published by Smilegate. The collab drops in September and will introduce fan-favorite characters, including Lenoa, who will be available for free, and Haru and Meilin, who are only obtainable through limited summons.

Smilegate calls Epic Seven a “playable anime” due to its visuals and cinematic combat and polished animations. It’s free-to-play and follows a turn-based combat mechanic with an extensive character roster that’s ever-expanding through multiple collabs and updates.
With its Steam debut and Chaos Zero Nightmare collab arriving alongside its anniversary celebrations, Epic Seven may experience a busy second half in 2026. Epic Seven is now available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its launch.
