Yostar has confirmed that its popular free-to-play RPG Arknights will officially launch on PC on August 13, 2026, at 7 AM ET / 4 AM PT. The developer noted that more details about the release will be shared closer to launch.
Arknights first made its mark as a mobile title, blending tower defense mechanics with strategic RPG elements and a heavy focus on story. With this move to PC, players will be able to experience the game on a new platform, though Yostar has yet to reveal specifics such as system requirements, storefronts, or whether cross-progression with mobile will be supported.

The game is set in a world where a substance called Originium Ore has begun infecting people, turning them into what’s known as the Infected. Fear and misunderstanding have led many countries to cast out those affected, leaving them with few options and little support. In response, a faction called Reunion has formed among the Infected, seeking to reclaim the lives and rights they’ve lost.
Standing against this backdrop is Rhodes Island, described as the world’s most advanced Infected research institution. Players take on the role of a member of this organization, working under its leader, Amiya, to address the crisis. Throughout the game, players recruit and train Operators, then send them out to rescue those in danger, mediate conflicts, and confront Reunion when necessary.
With the PC version now confirmed for August 13, fans of the series will soon have another way to jump into the world of Arknights, and more information is expected to follow in the weeks ahead.
