Capcom and TiMi Studio Group revealed a new gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter Outlanders at Tokyo Game Show 2025. The showcase also included a fresh set of screenshots that highlight the scale of the open world. Alongside the trailer, the teams confirmed that a closed beta will begin in November in select regions, and sign-ups have already opened through the official website.

TiMi Studio Group producer Dong Huang said that TGS visitors are the first to try the game, but the demo shows only part of what the full version offers. He stressed that the team is preparing the November closed beta to highlight more of the game’s features. Capcom producer Genki Sunano added that the project has great potential and that both studios are excited for players to experience a new kind of Monster Hunter adventure.
Latest Trailer

The trailer takes players to a mysterious island where the story begins. Classic hunting action returns with all weapon types, but the footage also hints at new mechanics that shake up combat. The video introduces the default protagonist, known as the Adventurer, who must survive by gathering resources, crafting tools, and exploring different regions. Crafting plays a major role, giving players the ability to adapt to the island’s weather, terrain, and dangers.

Capcom confirmed that recruitment for the closed beta has already started. The test launches in November, and Tokyo Game Show visitors can try the first demo at the Capcom and Level Infinite booths.
Key Features

Monster Hunter Outlanders builds on the familiar hunting experience but introduces new systems. Adventurers come from different parts of the world, each with skills that help in battle or exploration. Players will travel with companions as well. The Palico returns, joined by new buddies called Rutaco and Trillan, who each bring unique abilities and personalities.

The island of Aesoland is divided into several regions shaped by climate and terrain. Players can gather materials and craft items to adapt to these conditions. The land also hides powerful Radiant Species, monsters that draw strength from the mineral Radiantite. These creatures are more aggressive and carry dangerous new abilities, adding high-stakes encounters to every hunt.
Release Information

Capcom and TiMi plan to launch Monster Hunter Outlanders on iOS and Android as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. A final release date has not been announced, but the November closed beta gives fans their first real chance to experience the title.
