Icarus M, the mobile MMORPG that is made by WeMade has now officially launched their pre-registration! If you haven’t heard, it was announced publicly that WeMade was looking to cancel the publishing contract for the game with Netmarble earlier this month. The case seemed to have been resolved and now WeMade will be publishing the game under their WeMade Service in South Korea.

The game based off the PC version, Icarus, is powered by Unreal Engine 4. It’s an MMORPG for the mobile that can rival games that are already in the market like Lineage M and TERA M. You can race with your flying mount, capture monsters, battle against the raid bosses and PvP and PvE content! Currently, there are 5 playable classes with 1 extra class that is exclusive for the mobile version, the Artist. However there’s no details revealed yet on what the Artist class role will be.

Netmarble was set to be the global publisher for Icarus M, however since the announcement of the cancellation of the contract, we are not sure if Netmarble will still be the global publisher or if the game will ever be published globally. Hopefully, if all goes well for WeMade, they might be able to publish the game globally themselves.
