Publisher Level Infinite and developers Hotta Studio has announced that their open world MMORPG, Tower of Fantasy, will be getting a Neon Genesis Evangelion collaboration.

Announced on the official PlayStation blog website, the Evangelion collaboration will be coming to Tower of Fantasy in the first half of 2024.

However, the exact date as to when the collaboration event will begin has yet to be announced, so fans will have to wait a little while longer for more details to drop.

The collaboration event will see Shinji Ikari, Asuka Shikinami Langley, and Rei Ayanami joining the game, with players being able to obtain simulacrums of Asuka and Rei.

Players will also be able to meet with the classic EVA units such as EVA-00, EVA-01, and EVA-02 by exploring the main story, as the developers are set to faithfully reproduce classic scenes from the original anime within the game’s narrative.

Additionally, a brand new Evangelion themed vehicle will be added in the collaboration event, along with a familiar face in the form of Pen Pen, joining players on their adventure as a smart servant.

Apart from the collaboration, the Tower of Fantasy developers have also given a preview of the game’s upcoming version 3.6 update, which adds a new map, Aquaville, as well as brand new Simulacrum, Plotti.
