Honkai Impact 3 is now accepting pre-registrations and currently there are over 500k players who have already registered. Ahead of its Southeast Asia launch, miHoYo reveals the character (aka Valkyrie) lineup along with a gameplay video. Check them out below!

Honkai Impact 3 portrays the story of 3 girls from St. Freya High School who are actually Valkyries fighting against the “Honkai.” You, as the player, will take the role as captain of the Hyperion warship, commanding the Valkyries against deadwalkers and Honkai beasts around the globe, and fight for all that is beautiful in the world.

There will be 3 Valkyries where you can freely operate and form different combinations of equipment and skills with your style. Every Valkyrie has their own role and character as well as unique voiceovers. You can also interact and build up friendship levels with the Valkyries.

Kiana Kaslana

“The blood of the Kaslana family flowing through my veins now boils to protect those being threatened by the Honkai!!” Two white pigtails flutter through the air, shimmering in the rays moonlight, and with a perfect spin, a massive cat paw comes sweeping across the battlefield! New captains will be relying on the explosive power of the dual-wielding warrior, Kiana Kaslana.

Combat style: Gun Kata

In battle, Valkyrie Kiana wields 2 guns and employs a gun kata to execute both melee and ranged combat attacks. Her nimble backward somersault allows her to dodge enemy attacks and she is capable of dealing high burst damage to her enemies using Valkyrie Mode or Gungnir.

Kiana will be the first Valkyrie that players meet in the game and will use her gun kata as the primary means of attack. Besides her attacks, Kiana also has a healing form and is capable of healing herself, increasing the overall survivability of the team.

Raiden Mei

“Am I the Herrscher, or am I just human? But, as long as they are here, I can…” Draped in beautiful black hair and bearing the burdens of helplessness and despair, her blade has never yet hesitated. To Mei, proximity is opportunity.

Mei’s swift combos of slicing blades give full testament of the secrets of Sakura Rise. Her ability to disappear like a fleeting mist makes her attacks seem as if they come out of thin air, and her thunder god form beckons the repeating sound of thunder! — Raiden Mei

Bronya Zaychik
