Published by Limited Run Games and developed by Bitmap Bureau, the game is set to bring back classic beat ‘em up titles, this time with the 1980s franchise in the forefront.
The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Players can pre-order the physical version for now through Limited Run Games and Clear River Games.
Dragon Pearl of Destruction follows Eternia’s heroes as they attempt to stop Skeletor and Evil-Lyn from plunging the kingdom into darkness, where they plan to use the powerful Dragon Pearl in an ancient ritual. It’s up to He-Man and his allies to prevent their scheme from succeeding.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction lets players choose between four playable characters. He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, and She-Ra take the centre stage, with each one featuring distinct abilities and combat moves. Furthermore, players will encounter familiar faces along the way, including Orko, Trap Jaw, Kobra Khan, and Battle Cat.
He-Man’s return to Eternia promises more than 13 action-packed levels, with pixel-art visuals inspired by the franchise’s classic designs. Players can also team up with a friend through local co-op, bringing an arcade-style experience to the adventure.

Its standard physical edition costs $29.99, while Limited Run Games sells the Collector’s Edition for $99.99. The Collector’s Edition includes a collector’s box, a replica of the Power Sword, pins, a Battle Cat acrylic standee, and a 12-page comic book from Dark Horse Comics. Furthermore, it includes a bonus Masters of the Universe Origins He-Man action figure for eligible early pre-orders, while supplies last.
