Android 21 (Lab Coat) set to join Dragon Ball FighterZ

Forget battle armour or martial arts attire, Android 21 will fight in her lab coat as a new playable character in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Her gameplay was revealed yesterday during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2022 live stream. Even though the live stream is no longer available for viewing, you can check out her gameplay through her character promotional video uploaded on Bandai Namco’s YouTube channel.

She will be joining the game later this week on 24 February 2022 as a standalone DLC.

Android 21 (Lab Coat) is a different character with a whole new moveset, setting her apart from her pink, majin-looking counterpart, Android 21, who is already in the game. Her moves and attacks are a lot more refined and less chaotic than pink Android 21, opting to use primarily Energy Blades. However, players might be able to notice some similarities between their moves.

Initially announced at Jump Fest 2022 at the end of last year, Android 21 (Lab Coat) stirred some confusion amongst fans who were uncertain if she was just a skin of Android 21 or her own character entirely.
