Sword Art Online: Variant Showdown opens Pre-Registration for iOS and Android

Get ready to shout Link Start as the new mobile game for SAO series, Sword Art Online Variant Showdown opens its pre-registration now.

Pre-registration is available for both iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play Store.

Variant Showdown brings you to the game called Cross Edge in the world of SAO. Kirito, having caught the rumours of the game that reminds him of Laughing Coffin, begins playing the game with his friends only to be soon be targeted in a surprise attack.

The game features characters from the popular series of Sword Art Online with brand new characters and a brand-new game original story scenario.

We have previously covered about the Battle System in the PVE section of the game and it mirrors the system from the series such as switching between party members to deal massive damage to the enemies.

Sword Art Online: Variant Showdown had done a Closed Beta Test of the game with 10,000 selected players across the globe with the popular Minato Aqua from the VTuber group Hololive, serving as the captain of the CBT Capture Group.
