Should You Pull Groom Rimuru in Slime ISEKAI Memories?

Rimuru appears to be getting married, getting dressed up as a groom in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Memories. Let’s find out whether or not this lucky slime deserves your luck pulling for him in the gacha.

As for his skills, this slimy groom’s 1st skill is a 2-in-1 debuff and buff. It decreases a single target’s pierce resistance by 20％ (30%) for 2 turns and increases Soul of Skills’ Secret Skill gauge increase by 50％ for 1 turn, all for the cost of 25 (15) skill points. His second skill converts 1 Soul of Secrets into 1 Soul of Skills while also increasing Soul of Skills damage by 5％ (10%) for 1 turn at the cost of 25 (15) skill points.

Well, it should be pretty obvious that Groom Rimuru is not a good character. The only way to make him viable is with Bride Shion, who benefits from the team spamming low cost skills as well as Rimuru’s pierce debuff. Overall, he’s a very niche support for a very specific team build. Outside of it, he’s just a flat out bad unit.

As such, do bear this in mind if you plan to pull for [Bridgroom Slime] Rimuru Tempest. Meta reasons aside, if you want to walk around in town wearing a groom outfit, by all means, pull him.
