Risk of Rain Returns Rocks Steam’s Trending Games Chart Just One Week After Release

Risk of Rain Returns is the remastered version of the 2013 cult classic roguelike title, and just days after being released, it’s rocking the Steam’s weekly charts.

According to SteamDB, from 8th November till 15th November, Risk of Rain Returns sit comfortably on top of both the Trending Games and Popular Releases list.

Released on 9th November 2023, the game had a peak of over 45K concurrent players, which is eight times more than the original title.

As of time of writing, Hopoo Game’s title is currently rated as “Very Positive” with 82% of the 8353 reviews for the game are positive.

For those who might be wondering, Risk of Rain Returns is a 2D roguelike/action-platformer developed by Hopoo Games and Gearbox Publishing, and a remake of the first Risk of Rain game.

The release of the title was a celebration of the series’ 10 year anniversary and includes enhanced graphics, and a bunch of new content such as new Survivors, overhauled multiplayer, fan favorite content from Risk of Rain 2 and more.

The game is also currently on a 15% discount on Steam, which makes it the perfect time for new fans and veterans of the series to pick up the title.
