Kingston Technology unveils the CUDIMM modules for the Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5, crafted specifically for Intel’s latest 800-series chipset. This chipset, formerly known as Arrow Lake, debuts the industry’s first “Clock Driver-supported Unbuffered Dual Inline Memory Modules” (CUDIMM), which boost memory signal integrity and overall performance.

Intel’s 800-series chipset is built to maximize DDR5 power at ultra-high speeds, incorporating a Client Clock Driver (CKD) across both UDIMM and SODIMM configurations.

With speeds reaching 6400MT/s, JEDEC standards now mandate this CKD component to stabilize and redrive the processor’s clock signal, ensuring cleaner and more dependable signals as they reach the memory module. JEDEC designates these advanced modules as CUDIMM and CSODIMM, marking a notable evolution from standard DDR5 UDIMM and SODIMM technology.

Available in both RGB and non-RGB versions of the Kingston FURY Renegade, these high-performance CUDIMM modules achieve an impressive overclocking speed of 8400MT/s. They are offered as single 24GB modules or as dual-channel 48GB kits.

With the shared 288-pin connector between CUDIMM and UDIMM, users will find Kingston FURY UDIMMs with Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) and AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO) compatible with the new Intel motherboards.

However, Kingston recommends verifying compatibility through the motherboard’s Qualified Vendor List (QVL) or using the Kingston Configurator to obtain the desired speed and configuration.
