The developers behind Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact have apologized for network issues that are affecting online matches and confirmed they’re working on solutions. While players have been enjoying the 3v3 arena fighter’s combat system and gameplay, many have run into serious problems with the game’s rollback netcode during online matches.

The development team at Eighting posted an announcement explaining they’ve found two main issues causing trouble for players. The first problem involves abnormal increases in rollback frames, which create input delays and visual lag that hurt the gaming experience. While the developers work on a permanent fix, they’re telling players to use the most stable internet connection they can find, since the issue happens more often when network conditions aren’t steady.
The second major problem is matches ending suddenly because of desynchronization errors. The team is still investigating what’s causing these crashes and plans to release fixes as soon as they figure out solutions. The developers apologized for these issues and asked players to be patient while they work on resolving the problems.
Since many fighting game fans consider rollback netcode essential for smooth online play, players were happy about the delay. However, it looks like the Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact developers still need more time to work out the remaining issues that are affecting online matches. Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact has already launched on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5.
