Fans have added Sin Kiske to Guilty Gear Strive via a new mod, letting players experience the character alongside Strive’s overall mechanics.
Made by user WistfulHopes, this mod sees Sin Kiske added as a playable character for the PC version of Guilty Gear Strive.
The mod even works on multiplayer- though you’ll need to use it via player rooms and also have your opponent have the mod too, naturally.
It should be noted that unlike model swap mods, this Sin Kiske mod is a whole character- he has his own slot in the roster, and doesn’t replace any other characters in the game.
From a gameplay perspective though he’s pretty similar to his Xrd incarnation- using a food meter to have access to enhanced moves but coming at the cost of needing to eat when the meter goes down.
This marks the first major character mod for Guilty Gear Strive, which is still fairly young in its life cycle.
It’s far from the only game to get a whole character modded in, though- the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 community has been hard at work giving that game new life via new characters, such as Rashid from Street Fighter V or a reworked Vergil based on Devil May Cry V.
Meanwhile, fans may not have to wait long for the next DLC announcement for Guilty Gear Strive, since ArcRevo is this weekend and the game’s soundtrack imply that should be releasing sooner rather than later.
