Saroasis Studios has officially launched the closed beta test for their anime-style battle royale game Fate Trigger today. The game combines anime visuals with tactical action gameplay, creating a battle royale experience that’s designed to be easy for newcomers while still offering depth for skilled players.
Interest in the game has been growing strong, with over 200,000 applications received during the earlier Closed Alpha Steam Playtest. Popular Twitch streamer xQc, who has 12 million followers, even streamed the game during its alpha testing phase.

For this closed beta test, Fate Trigger is rolling out several major updates that expand the game significantly. Players will get access to three new playable characters, bringing the total roster to ten heroes. The new additions include Bloodprowler Ryoin, a wolf-like character known for explosive movement abilities, plus Crystalscar Cynric and Lootracer Mindy.
The beta also introduces new game modes beyond the standard battle royale format. Players can now try Ranked Matches for competitive play, Rapid Trials for quicker games, and an 8v8 Team Deathmatch mode that adds a different style of combat to the mix.
Weapon and vehicle options are expanding too, with five new weapons joining the arsenal and two new vehicles hitting the battlefield – a high-speed motorcycle and an armored SUV for players who want more protection while moving around the map.

Looking ahead, Saroasis Studios has bigger plans for Fate Trigger beyond casual play. The company is preparing the game for esports competition, with their first satellite competitive tournament already in development.
