Electronic Arts and Maxis have released three new content kits for The Sims 4 today, each offering unique gameplay elements and decorative options for different life experiences. The Restoration Workshop Kit, Golden Years Kit, and Kitchen Clutter Kit are now available across all platforms.
The Restoration Workshop Kit introduces a new dimension to the Handiness Skill, allowing Sims to repair and restore broken appliances including microwaves, coffee makers, refrigerators, and stoves. Players can create dedicated workshop spaces with modular shelving, dusty woodworking benches, water heaters, fuse boxes, and functional floor fans. Game Designer Danny Kovacs drew inspiration from his childhood memories of cluttered home workshops when creating this kit.

The Golden Years Kit finally gives elder Sims more options to express their individuality with age-appropriate clothing and accessories. These include comfortable outfits for various activities from garden walks to gym sessions, plus accessories like glasses with eyewear retainers, toupees, and gardening gloves.
The Kitchen Clutter Kit helps players create more realistic, lived-in kitchens with everyday items like drying racks, cereal boxes, lunchboxes, kitchen timers, and recipe tablets. Also inspired by Kovacs’ family experiences, this kit includes functional items such as cookie jars and cereal boxes that Sims can grab snacks from, along with refrigerator magnets, children’s drawings, grocery bags, and cleaning supplies. All three new kits on the Sims 4 are available now.
