[E3 2019] The Outer Worlds is a new RPG that gives you freedom to choose your path

The Outer Worlds is a new RPG created by Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division that allows you the freedom to choose your path. Be it a hero or villain, it is up to you how you can play this game. The game was announced during Microsoft’s Xbox briefing at E3 2019 and will be available on the Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One and PC.

You are a colonist that was bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy. However, you got lost in transit and end up waking up decades later in Halcyon, a colony where mega-corporations have taken control. Stuck in a conspiracy that threatens the colony, your participation will determine how events progress.

The Outer Worlds is a story-driven single-player RPG that looks like it draws a lot of inspiration from the Fallout series. The trailer suggests that it will be a first-person shooter with the slow-motion mechanic that was first used in Fallout 3.

The game will be released on 25 October 2019 and you can pre-order it now.
