Velzard has descended into That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Memories and it’s time to see if she’s worth pulling for.

[The White Ice Dragon] Velzard is another water-element unit who deals magical damage. Unlike most of the water-element units, her stats are higher on the ATK side. In fact, she has the highest ATK in the game out of all the non-Octagram units, being tied with her associate, Guy Crimson.

Another thing that looks good on her resume is her Secret Skill. She deals single-target damage with it, which is much preferred over multi-target ones.

As for her skills, both of them have an extremely low cost of 25 (15). Her first skill is a single turn buff which increases her ATK by 25% (30%) and pierce power by 15%. Her second skill has an 80% (100%) chance of inflicting Frostbite on all enemies for 2 turns, causing them to lose HP every turn and increasing the effectiveness of debuffs on them by 1.3 times.

It is without a doubt that Velzard is easily one of the best characters in Slime ISEKAI Memories at the moment. Her ATK buff gives her nuking potential on par with that of Gazel and Diablo, while Frostbite is a very flexible effect that synergises well with skills from characters like Raphael and [Brave Knight Girl] Alice Rondo who have strong debuffs. Given their low skill costs, Velzard can be the centrepiece of any team that relies on reducing enemy’s stats, which is a lot of them.

We highly recommend pulling for Velzard. She’s an extremely powerful character who becomes broken with the right teammates.
