Apparently NetEase Games is expanding its Onmyoji franchise again with a new mobile title! Onmyoji SSR is a card battle game revealed recently, which it has now got an official site hinting on some Onmyoji characters. The list includes Karasu Tengu, Yamausagi, Shuten Douji and Aoandon.
Classified as a casual card battle mobile game, Onmyoji SSR will offer brand new and more casual experience compared to the previous Onmyoji titles with intense battles. The iconic Onmyoji characters will battle on a “mysterious ship” set in the world of Onmyoji yet relatively independent from the outside world.
The game is having a closed beta test for iOS from 20 to 23 February, however you will need a China phone number to apply. These are all we know for now, stay tuned for more updates!
