South Korean developer Shift Up has recently announced a new mobile third-person-shooter – NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory. The game is made with Unity using Live2D 3.3 tech, which explains its gorgeous visuals. It is also featuring artworks by the main illustrator for Destiny Child, Kim Hyung-seop.
The game set its story at a distant future where humanity has been driven underground by metallic aliens. To defend against the aliens, mankind has created battle Androids called “Goddess of Victory” aka “Nikke.”
Featuring portrait gameplay, the game comes with extremely simple controls. You can just take cover from enemy fire, and let your character fire automatically when aiming at the enemies. Of course, there will be various female Androids for you to collect, each with their unique skills. The game supports real-time co-op too.
NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory will arrive in 2020 in South Korea and probably be globally launched shortly after. You can visit the official site for more information.
