Sony Interactive Entertainment and Ultizero Games have announced that the highly anticipated action RPG Lost Soul Aside will be delayed, pushing its release date from May 30 to August 29, 2025. The title will still launch simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and PC on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
In a statement addressing the postponement, Ultizero Games CEO and game director Yang Bing expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic reception the game has received since its announcement: “We are truly grateful for the positive response we’ve received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside.”

Bing emphasized the team’s commitment to quality as the primary reason for the delay: “We remain committed to delivering a high-quality game experience. To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game.” He concluded by thanking fans for their continued patience. The additional development time will allow Ultizero Games to refine gameplay elements before the game’s late summer release.
Lost Soul Aside follows protagonist Kaser, a war orphan who embarks on an epic journey to save his younger sister Louisa and humanity from dimensional invaders. The game promises dynamic combat featuring weapon switching and spectacular attack combos against formidable enemies and colossal bosses.
Key characters include Arena, a former alien-dragon warrior; Louisa, Kaser’s compassionate sister; Aramon, the ruthless commander of the Voidrax invaders; Victor, leader of the Holy Order; and Zana, a superhuman member of the GLIMMER resistance group.
