Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, a mobile game in continuation of the long running Kingdom Hearts series, has just announced that the development of the game has been cancelled entirely.
Originally announced in April 2022 alongside the news of Kingdom Hearts IV for the 20th anniversary of the series, the original concept of the game left many fans anticipating with excitement on where the story of the mobile game will take them in terms of expanded lore or new gameplay mechanics.

In a post on the official Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link X account, the developers have stated that it has been proven difficult to deliver a satisfactory service of the game for a long period of time, which lead to the ultimate decision to finally cancel the development of the game.

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link has gone through several closed beta tests all with the support and assistance of many fans, with the hopes that the feedback and overall testing of the game will bring the launch much more closer.
However, despite the alarming news, the developers are still hard at work on the development of Kingdom Hearts IV, the fourth exciting installment of the series after the ending of Kingdom Hearts III, and its DLC Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind.
