HoYoverse Sets May 21 Launch for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3

HoYoverse has officially announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3, titled “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise,” will launch on May 21. This update marks a significant milestone in the ongoing narrative as players face the climactic conclusion of the Flame-Chase Journey storyline.

In Version 3.3, Trailblazers will stand alongside Chrysos Heirs for the final confrontation against the Sky Titan known as Aquila. According to ancient records, Aquila is described as a hundred-eyed giant bird that controls the cycles of dawn and dusk, with the sky itself serving as its eyelids. The update will also introduce “Echo of War: Glance of Twilight,” offering new challenges and substantial rewards for players.

The narrative continues to deepen following the events of Version 3.2, where Madam Herta’s data spirit entity successfully reached the Vortex of Genesis. As the Geniuses pursue their investigation, the root causes behind Amphoreus’s tragedy will gradually come to light, with the fate of this world becoming increasingly intertwined with that of the galaxy.

Two new 5-star characters join the roster in this update:

• Hyacine: As chief physician of the Twilight Courtyard, this Wind character following the Path of Remembrance specializes in team-wide healing and survivability. Her abilities allow her to summon Little Ica, providing continuous healing to allies while also being capable of attacking enemies with damage that scales based on healing performed.
• Cipher: One of the earliest Chrysos Heirs to join the Flame-Chase Journey, this Quantum character follows the Path of Nihility. Cipher’s unique combat style involves marking enemies with the highest Max HP, recording damage they take, and performing follow-up attacks when allies target the marked enemy.

The update will also feature return warps for limited 5-star characters The Herta and Aglaea in the first and second halves of Version 3.3 respectively.

Beyond the main storyline, Version 3.3 introduces several engaging events. Players can participate in the Penacony Speed Cup Spheroid Racing Tournament, taking control of Spheroid Racers in high-speed challenges. Additionally, Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King will officially launch, featuring enhancements based on player feedback from the previous beta test.
