505 Games and One More Level has announced that fans can now signup for the closed beta for Ghostrunner 2. Additionally, there will be major announcements regarding the game that drops on 21st August 2023 ahead of Gamescom.

On 21st August, 505 Games and One More Level will be sharing news about Ghostrunner 2, where fans are encouraged to check out the official Ghostrunner social media pages such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for more details.

Players who are interested in participating in the Ghostrunner 2 closed beta as well as providing feedback can do so here. Do keep in mind though that the slots are very limited, so it’s advised to sign up as soon as you can.

A recap video has been posted that summarises the events that led to Jack’s escape from Dharma Tower, setting the scene for him to explore the wasteland beyond in the sequel of the game. Those who are interested can check out the video below, however it does contain spoilers of the main story.

Ghostrunner 2 is set one year after the events of the first game after the fall of the Keymaster, the tyrant who ruled over Dharma Tower, the last refuge of humanity. The player has the power to shape the future of humanity and take on the violent cyber ninja AI cult that has taken shape outside Dharma Tower.

Ghostrunner 2 is said to be a First-Person Perspective Slasher and will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store sometime in 2023.
