Gears POP! is a game that was announced by Microsoft during E3 this year. The game was announced alongside with the announcement of Gears 5. While Gears 5 will be released for consoles, Gears POP! is released for mobile and it is now up on the Google Play Store! However, the game is only available in certain countries – for now.
If you haven’t seen it, the game is a collaboration with the famous toy maker Funko that features their character artstyles in the game. As seen in the gameplay trailer, the game plays like Clash Royale where you for a team of Gears of War characters and deploy them in a 3 lane battle to defend or destroy opponents’ base.
The terrain in the map is different that Clash Royale however as characters deployed will automatically move into position to find cover and attack. There’s also ultimate abilities like the Hammer of Dawn that can take down any enemy when you’re in a pinch!
Download the game now on Google Play Store! The game will be available for iOS users as well but as usual, it takes time until the game passes its trials to be put up in the store. For more info, you can check out their official site!
