Mundfish has announced the upcoming release for the first DLC of Atomic Heart along with a New Game+ Mode.
Debuting the Atomic Pass’ series of DLCs and titled Annihilation Instinct, this DLC is set to launch on 2nd August 2023, and offers players a new diverse area, new weapons, new enemies, and a new glove ability. Additionally, the highly requested New Game+ mode for the base game will be available for free with the latest update.
Annihilation Instinct DLC
Players can continue the story in the Annihilation Instinct DLC and learn what happened in the game’s dystopian world after the climax of Atomic Heart. Players will embark on a journey through the new mind=being Mendeleev Complex and its surrounding swamps to discover the truth about NORA.
Survive the vicious shape-shifting enemies and take them down using two new weapons, the Secateur and Klusha, as well as your glove’s new time-shift Techno-Stasis ability, allowing players to manipulate time itself.
New Game+
The New Game+ mode has now been made available for free along with the latest update. In the most difficult game mode yet, players will need all of their previously unlocked skills and arsenal to deal with the strongest enemies Atomic Heart has ever unleashed, with new specific resistances and attack effects, which will be reflected in the different colours of the enemies’ aura.
